The Adverse Effects Of Hydraulic Oil With Low Viscosity
Hydraulic oil with low viscosity will have a relatively thin oil film, and there are following possible hazards:
1. Prone to internal leakage.
2. As the viscosity is low, the oil film is thin and may cause hydraulic components to wear and lock up. Especially when the hydraulic pump is under high loading, without proper oil protection, it’s more easily to have hydraulic pump wear and operating faults.
3. Low viscosity of hydraulic oil may cause oil cylinder internal leakage, in the long run, pumps will slow motion and the output efficiency of hydraulic pumps will get lower.
4. If there is leakage of oil in hydraulic pumps, the operation temperature will rise.
